Kantara Song Controversy: Vijay Kirgandur, Rishab Shetty gets Anticipatory bail

Directed and acted by Rishab Shetty , the movie ‘Kantara’ became a super hit. The song ‘Varaharoopam’ of this film created a lot of controversy. Malayalam’s Thaikkudam Bridge ‘ accused that ‘our tune has been stolen’. Kantara Song Controversy: Vijay Kirgandur, Rishab Shetty gets Anticipatory bail.

This issue is in court. Now Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films and the film’s director Rishab Shetty has been granted anticipatory bail in this case. Kerala High Court Justice A. Badruddin has granted anticipatory bail to Rishab Shetty and Vijay Kirgandur. In addition, conditions have been set for the applicants.

The song ‘VarahaRupam’ cannot be used in the movie Kantara until the interim or final order is passed by the civil court in the copyright case. Justice A. Badrudeen said that the applicant has the right to request a retrial of the case. Thaikkudam Bridge had lodged a complaint at Koikkod police station.

There was an allegation that the tune used in the song ‘Varaha Rupam’ was from the song ‘Navarasam’. The case is currently being heard in court. Rishab Shetty had recently said that there will be a prequel to ‘Kantara’. Kantara’s victory is a joy. I told this story first to Karthik Gowda, then to Vijay.
