Kannada actor Satyajit has passed away today (Sunday) after being ill for the past few days. He was 72 years old. He was admitted to Bowring Hospital with age-related illness and treated at ICU. Satyajit’s son, Akash, told media that he died at around 2 AM.
Funeral arrangements have been arranged at the home of Shabari, Hegde nagara. Satyajit’s funeral will take place shortly after 1.30 pm.

Syed Nizamuddin was known in the film industry as Satyajit. He has been active in cinema since 1986 and has acted in over 600 films. He was popular with many films including Appu, Arasu, Abhi and Apthamithra. He has painted many different types of roles and is often noted for supporting roles.
