It was yesterday (November 17) that three first year engineering students Aryan, Dinakar and Rhea Ravichandra Kamedkar of New Horizon College, Bengaluru. Shouted slogans ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.

Currently, Actor Chetan Kumar has posted on social media on behalf of these students. It said, “Three students from Bengaluru shouted slogans ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ at the college fest held yesterday. This is done for fun. Aryan, Riya and Dinkar were beaten and threatened and taken into police custody for this reason. This is absurd and dangerous. The people of Pakistan are our sisters and brothers – not our enemies. We have to uphold the freedom of speech”, he is being severely criticized by the public.

A case has been registered against the students in Marathhalli police station. When the police detained the three students and interrogated them, they said that they did this as a fun. However, the police are taking the case seriously and are investigating.
