Holiday is being given from 8th to 10th of this month. Students are being given leave because they should not be disturbed by the bus. Students will get leave for the upcoming G20 summit in September. This month also gets a holiday as there are more festivals.

Education Minister has announced that schools, colleges and offices will be closed in the city of Delhi.
Major roads are closed to welcome foreign delegates. It is said that because of that, even the children going to school will suffer.

G20 Summit: Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram allow employees to work from home

In view of the G20 summit being held in Delhi on September 9 and 10, various restrictions have been imposed on vehicular traffic. Various corporate offices in Gurugram have arranged for their employees to work from home during weekends.

The G20 summit will be attended by 29 heads of state and high officials of the European Union and heads of invited guest countries and 14 international organizations. The Delhi government has ordered the closure of all government and private offices, banks and commercial establishments in the city for three days from September 8 to 10.

Due to restrictions and security arrangements, private and government offices in Delhi will remain closed from September 8-10. Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora has written to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Managing Director Vikas Kumar requesting him to start metro services in the national capital at 4 am on September 8, 9 and 10. Facilitates travel of police personnel engaged in security arrangements during the G20 Summit.
