Public Exam 2023: According to the Education Department, the annual exams will be held syllabus from November 2022 to March 2023. The Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board will design and supply the question paper and conduct the examination at the school level. This year, the School Education and Literacy Department has decided to conduct a public examination for Class 5 and Class 8 students of all government, aided and unaided schools following the state curriculum. The Department of School Education and Literacy has decided to conduct a public examination to check the learning quality of the students of Class 5th Class 8th exam from the year 2022-23.

50 marks test

Class 5 and Class 8 annual exams will be held in March. 50 marks are allotted for the duration of 2 hours. Out of which 40 marks will be written and 10 marks will be oral. The Education Department has decided to prepare questions under the Learning Recovery Curriculum.

Annual Exam Schedule

The exams will be held from March 9 to March 17, 2023. The evaluation will be conducted from March 21 to March 28, 2023, the result will be prepared from March 31 to April 5, and a tentative schedule has been prepared to announce the result between April 8 and April 10.

The Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board will prepare the question paper for this annual examination and these question papers will be supplied to each district. Education department has decided to prepare question papers under learning recovery syllabus.

Based on the number of school wise students in Class 5 examination center at least 25 students should be available in one centre, if less number of students exam centre distance will be 2 km. Setting up examination centers including students from nearby junior/senior primary schools with adequate basic facilities.
