KSET 2023 Exam Date Postponed: New date announced

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka State Eligibility Test KSET 2023 examination. KSET 2023 Exam Date Postponed: New date announced. After the postponement of the date, the exam has been tentatively rescheduled to be held on December 31, 2023.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has notified through a post at X (Twitter) about postponing the examination. The State Assistant Professor Eligibility Test (K-Set 23) scheduled to be held on November 26 has been postponed. A tentative date of December 31 has been fixed, KEA Executive Director S Ramya said,” KEA said in its post.

As per the previous schedule, KEA was scheduled to conduct the KSET 2023 exam on November 26, 2023. KSET 2023 exam is being organized to recruit professors at various levels in various colleges across Karnataka. The KSET 2023 exam will be conducted for a total of 41 subjects.

Further, the exam is scheduled to be held in two sessions: 10 am to 11 am and 12 pm to 2 pm, where the exam paper will have multiple choice questions. Paper-1 consists of 50 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks, while Paper-II consists of 100 questions carrying a maximum of 200 marks.

To clear the KSET 2023 exam, candidates from unreserved categories need to score at least 40%, while SC, ST, PWD, Transgender categories need to score at least 35%. Candidates who clear the KSET 2023 exam are eligible for appointment as professors of relevant subjects in various colleges across Karnataka.
