Karnataka SSLC Exam 2023: Education Department give good news to students

This time also the education department has given good news to Karnataka SSLC students. SSLC Board Director Ramachandra said that the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2023 will start from 31st and the exam preparations have been completed. Besides this, the board has given good news to the students who are writing the exam this time. The board said that it will give 10% grace marks considering Corona batch. The board has decided to award grace marks for only three subjects. Only language and core subjects will be given grace marks. Director said that this will be applicable only for students who get low marks in passing.

Since last two years, 10% grace marks were given due to Corona. It has been continued this year as well. Also, the board has decided to give 10% grace marks this year also because the students of class 8 and 9 have passed without writing the exam in the last two years.

SSLC exam is starting from March and will be held till April 15th. SSLC Board Director Ramachandra said that a total of 8.42 lakh students will write this time. A total of 3305 examination centre have been identified across the state.

Director of Examination Board Ramachandra said that since there is an election this time, the District Collector and District SP have been informed in advance to make police arrangements. Apart from this, strict measures have been taken to prevent examination irregularities and the board has requested parents and students not to listen to speculations.
