Chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council Basavaraj Horatti has written to CM Basavaraj Bommai on the issue of summer holidays to schools. They have requested in the letter to extend the school summer holiday.

It is possible to postpone the school summer holiday in view of children health. Thus, summer holidays are likely to continue until June. The heat has started to rise in Karnataka since early April. Temperatures have been rising due to this massive heat air effect in the all part of state including coastal Karnataka.
