Karnataka Class 5, 8, 9 Board Exams may cancel

The Recognised Unaided Private Schools’ Association 'RUPSA' has decided to approach the Supreme Court challenging this order. So again the future of the exam depends on what the Supreme Court will do.

There is a possibility that the 5th, 8th and 9th class board exam will be faced again. Karnataka High Court has given green signal to continue board examination today. However, the Recognised Unaided Private Schools’ Association ‘RUPSA’ has decided to approach the Supreme Court challenging this order.

So again the future of the exam depends on what the Supreme Court will do. Just on Friday morning, A division bench of the High Court comprising of Justice Somashekar and Justice Rajesh Rai has given green signal to conduct Board Exam. The government had told the court that it would take action to resume the examination from Monday.

The government has informed the court that the remaining examinations of class 5, 8 and 9 will be conducted from Monday itself. The examination of four subjects of class five has already been completed. Two subjects of 8th and 9th classes have been tested. 11th class all subjects exam is over.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has decided to move the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court Division Bench of Recognized Unaided Private Schools (RUPSA).

We respect the order of the Division Bench of the High Court, but not satisfied. RUPSA president Lokesh Talikatti has said that the divisional bench has said that after the on-going board exams this time, take appropriate decision from next year. But this time, injustice is happening to the students who are writing the board exam. So we have decided to approach the Supreme Court. A lot of parents have also urged us about this.
