Christmas Holiday Extend : Corona fear is high in the state. Slowly the number of active cases is increasing in each district. In the meantime, there is a fear of covid-19 infection in the schools as well and the schools of the city have started paying attention to making masks mandatory.

In the meantime, Christmas holiday has been announced for all schools, including private ones, and it is said that if the rate of Corona Virus increases, this holiday may be extended. The signs of the resurgence of the corona virus are strong.

Slowly, the number of corona patients in the state has crossed one hundred and the current number of covid-19 patients in the state has increased to 175. Not only the number of people affected by Corona but also the number of deaths is increasing. One person died in the state on Friday.

According to experts, Corona is not fatal to anyone. Instead, corona infection is fatal for those suffering from other diseases. Therefore, the government has increased the amount of covid-19 testing and is appealing to the infected to self-quarantine. Along with this, it has been requested to wear masks in crowded places.

In the meantime, the corona threat has started to haunt schools and they have started imposing a rule to wear masks even for small children. At present, Christmas vacation has been given in schools in the capital and in various districts of the state. But according to sources, if the number of corona cases increases by next week, there is a possibility that the holiday imposed on children will continue.

According to the information of the technical committee and experts, it is said that there is a possibility of Corona getting worse by the end of December and 1st week of January 2024. Therefore, instead of waking up children after it spreads, as a precautionary measure, experts have expressed the opinion that the interim one-week holiday given for Christmas should be extended for a period of one month.

Therefore, the parents have demanded that the education department should think about extending the leave. Of course, there is a possibility that children and parents will go on a trip on the background of Christmas vacation. So naturally children are likely to face problems like cold-fever-sore throat.

Therefore, there has been a demand to extend the holiday to prevent the spread of infection. It is said that the rate of covid-19 infection has already increased in Maharashtra, Goa and Kerala, and the Christmas vacation period for school children in those states is also likely to be extended.

But only the state education department has not given any information about the extension of the Christmas vacation period. On the other hand, only private educational institutes in the state give Christmas vacation, while no vacation is given in state government schools. Therefore, the fear of corona affecting children is also high. In generaly, if Corona increases, it is guaranteed to have a serious impact on educational activities.
