CBSE Board Exams 2025: Delhi Metro given good news to students

CBSE Board Exams 2025: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday announced several measures to make travel smooth and hassle-free for CBSE students appearing for Class 10 and 12 board exams in the national capital.

The Class 10 board exams will begin on Saturday, February 15 and end on March 18, 2025. But, the Class 12 board exams will also start on February 15 and end on April 4, 2025. In a post on X, the Delhi Metro said that students with their CBSE admit cards will be given priority during security checks at metro stations. Delhi Metro will also make special focused announcements at stations.

“Preference will be given to students who show their admit cards while purchasing tickets at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) centers,” reads the post. DMRC said its staff visited schools, interacted with principals and informed about nearby metro stations and support available to students.

“DMRC has requested schools to display posters providing details of nearest metro station along with QR code for easy ticket booking to help students plan their journey,” Delhi Metro said. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has urged students to plan their journey in advance and added that a detailed list of metro stations near the examination centers has been uploaded on the DMRC website and official mobile app.

Earlier, BSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj said that sufficient gap was given between the two subjects. “A date sheet is prepared keeping in mind at least 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subjects chosen by a student fall on the same date.”

CBSE Board Exams 2025: Items allowed carrying at exam centre

A transparent bag, geometry box, pencil box, blue or royal blue ink ball point or gel pen, scale, writing pad and eraser are allowed to be carried. Analog watch, transparent water bottle, metro card, bus pass and cash are other allowed items.
