Bengaluru: Higher Education Minister of Karnataka C.N. Ashwath Narayan informed about the release of KCET Result 2020 by Karnataka Examination Authority, KEA will be announced on August 21, 12:30pm. The exam was conducted amid a lot of protests on July 30 and 31 in the state.
Soon after the results are out, the exam authority will also release the cut off list. The cut off is the minimum marks which a student must obtain to qualify the entrance exam. The cut-offs vary every year as it is based on factors like the number of applicants applied for the exam, the number of candidates appeared, the previous year cut off, level of difficulty, and availability of seats.

Once the KCET 2020 results are declared, candidates will be able to check Karnataka CET result 2020 by following these steps:
1. Visit the official websites, kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
2. On reaching the home page, look for the KCET 2020 result link and click on it.
3. Enter the required information and then ‘Submit’ to view KCET result 2020 in the next page.
All those students who qualify the examination will receive a valid rank that will be used in the counselling process. The counselling process includes registration, document verification, filling of choices of colleges and courses, allotment, and reporting to allotted institutes.
