Regarding the video case of female students in Udupi College, the state government handed over the investigation of the case to the CID and issued an order. A Suo Moto Cases was registered on July 26 regarding the incident. A case was registered at Malpe police station in Udupi city.
According to the case, an investigation is already underway under the leadership of Udupi SP Akshay, and now the state government has ordered the investigation to be handed over to the CID. After the case came to light, there was a massive protest in Udupi district by BJP, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal organizations.
