Communal Clash in Bagalkote: 7 people injured

Communal Clash: In Navnagar of Bagalkote, there was a fight between youths of two communities last night, in which seven people were injured. The exact cause of the riot in Navnagar of Bagalkot is not known.

The incident caused a tense situation and the injured were admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Youths from two communities had gathered in front of the district hospital.

There was stone pelting on the houses and as soon as the matter came to know, the District Superintendent of Police Jayaprakash visited the place and dealt with the situation. More information is awaited.

Karnataka: Rice price will increased Rs 5 to Rs 10 in state

Karnataka Rice Millers Federation has come forward to give rice price shock to the people due to increase in electricity rates, lack of rains and shortage of rice in the state. Karnataka: Rice price will increased Rs 5 to Rs 10 in state.

According to Karnataka Rice Millers Federation, due to increase in electricity rates in the state, rice mills are getting hit hard. It is also said that the lack of rain has also caused the shortage of paddy. At present rice is being sold at Rs.45 per kg due to tax, labour cost, electricity bill.

Now it is known that due to increase in electricity bill, the price of rice will be increased by Rs.5 to 10. Already the people of the state are reeling due to the increase in the prices of essential items.

Today, the new president of KMF has hinted that the price of Nandini milk will also increase after the price hike of electricity. Meanwhile, another shocking news is that the Rice Millers Federation has proposed an increase of Rs 5 to Rs 10 per kg of rice.
