Murughashree did not get bail even in the 2nd POCSO case

Chitradurga: Even in the 2nd POCSO case, the court rejected the bail application of Dr. Shivamurthy Muruga Sharan of Chitradurga Muruga Mutt, due to which Mr. was sentenced to jail. Chitradurga’s Murughashree’s bail application has been rejected in connection with the 2nd POCSO case of sexual assault on a girl student.

The 2nd Additional District and Sessions Court of Chitradurga has issued an order today (December 01) rejecting the bail application of Dr. Shivamurthy Sharanaru in the 2nd POCSO case. A second POCSO case was registered on October 13 against Mr. Muruga who was already in jail in the first POCSO case. The 1st FOXO case was registered on August 26. Later, Murughashree was arrested by the police on September 1. He has been in judicial custody for the past 3 months.

Another charge

A serious allegation has been heard that 22 orphans who were living in the hostel of Muruga Mutt have gone missing. There are 14 girls and 8 boys among those missing. How did the orphans get to the monastery? Questions have now arisen as to whether the adoption of orphans was allowed by the government.

‘Basava Kutira’ used to get grants from the government earlier. But in 2012, Shivamurthy Muruga Sharan refused this grant. The authorities did not pay much attention to the organization that did not use the government grant. Thus, the issue of missing children has also come to light late.
