Karnataka Former Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi, who had earlier expressed outrage that he will not return to BJP, has also been attacked by the BJP and now is being told that he has been promised a “double offer” if he comes back to the party.

Apart from this, Kalyana Rajya Pragati Party founder G Janardhana Reddy has also been invited. According to BJP sources, there was opposition from the BS Yeddyurappa camp to the inclusion of Laxman Savadi, while there was an obstacle to Shettar’s arrival from the Santhosh faction.

It is said that Amit Shah has instructed the local leaders to hold talks with Savadi and talks have already taken place behind the scenes.

But the argument is that there is no benefit in resigning at this stage. In this context, there are rumors in the BJP circle that he has been given a double offer. According to this, Savadi should resign from the assembly membership and contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Belgaum.

In return for this, a proposal has been made to give assembly ticket to Savadi son Chidanand Savadi. Laxman Savadi has not yet accepted this offer. But there is a strong possibility that a quick decision will be made after observing the “atmosphere”.

Along with this, efforts are being made to bring back Janardhana Reddy, who has his own influence in the Kalyan Karnataka side, to the party. Former Minister B. Sriramulu is being used for this operation. Reddy has the potential to win votes in Koppala, Bellary, Raichur and Kalaburgi Lok Sabha constituencies.

Of course they are cutting into BJP votes. Even though Reddy won’t benefit from this, BJP is expected to lose. Thus, BJP has calculated to bring him back to the party and tie the Congress.
