Maruti Suzuki Unveils New Swift: Launch with high technology at very low price

Maruti Suzuki India parent company Suzuki Motor Corporation has organized the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo from October 26 to November 5. Maruti will unveil its new Maruthi Swift New Cars at this show. Maruti’s Swift cars were sold in the highest number in India.

Maruti introduced the Swift car in 2023 with many changes and now it is all set to introduce a new design car in the market. Maruti Swift outsells Baleno and WagonR in India in FY24 (April-September) at 1,03,000 units. It was the fourth best selling car at 1,77,000 units in FY23 and second at 1,68,000 units in FY22. Suzuki Motor Corporation has shared an image of the new Maruti Swift.

The front of the new Swift has been redesigned. Major changes have been made in the grille, headlamps and bumpers. A new change has been made to suit the convenience of the customers. The new Swift also features advanced safety technologies including Dual Sensor Brake Support, Adaptive High Beam System and Driver Monitoring System.

But the company has not published any exact information about what technologies the car includes. The new Swift hatchback has a cabin with infotainment system, instrument cluster, automatic climate control unit and ventilated front seats. It is said that there is a possibility of offering a sun roof in the new car.

The India-spec Swift currently uses a 1.2-litre K-series dual-jet dual-VVT petrol engine that produces 90PS and 113Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT. It also gets a CNG option. Maruti Swift is currently priced between Rs 5,99,450 and Rs 9,03,000 (ex-showroom). It is said that the price of the new car to be launched in India in 2024 is likely to increase.

But the company has not released any official information about this. Maruti cars are currently available for customers in petrol and CNG models, and customers can buy them in automatic and manual gears models. The car is available in Swift LXI, Swift VXI, Swift VX AMT, Swift ZXI, Swift CNG, Swift ZXI AMT variants.
Also, the car can be purchased in Swift ZXI Plus, Swift ZXI DualTone, Swift ZXI CNG, Swift ZXI Plus AMT, Swift ZXI Plus AMT Dual Tone models that include the latest technology.
