Hyundai Verna 2023 price is expected to start at Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 16 lakh. The next significant introduction from Hyundai in India will be the next-generation Verna mid-size sedan. While the teasers are already out, the 2023 Hyundai Verna will be reportedly launched on March 21. So far as Hyundai’s sedan portfolio is concerned, apart from the new Verna, the company also offers the new Aura. Hyundai Verna 2023: Launch in India on March 21.
The mid-size sedan segment in India has some formidable models like the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. The Hyundai Verna will take on all of them. Just for reference, Honda Cars India is also getting ready to launch the 2023 Honda City facelift in the country.
The bookings are already underway for the 2023 Hyundai Verna. Bookings can be made either at Hyundai dealerships or via the official website of the company on payment of Rs 25,000.Hyundai has heavily updated the 2023 Verna. There are a lot of changes to the front, side and rear of the mid-size sedan.
There is a new blacked-out grille, flanked by LED headlamps with LED strips running across the face of the vehicle. You look at it from the side and you realise that the new Verna has a coupe-like design. The rear has new taillamps and again, LED strips running across the boot lid. The bumpers, front and rear, have been redone as well.
The 2023 Hyundai Verna gets a couple of real driving emission (RDE)-compliant engines, which are also E20 fuel-ready. There is a 1.5-litre TGDi petrol mill, which can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed DCT automatic. Then there is a 1.5-litre 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated MPi petrol motor, which has 6-speed MT and IVT automatic options. The new Verna does not get a diesel engine.
The new Hyundai Verna has four variants EX, S, SX and SX(O). There are seven monotone and a couple of dual tone colour options. Abyss Black, Atlas White and Tellurian Brown are the three new monotone colours.
While the old Hyundai Verna was available in the price range of Rs 9.64 lakh to Rs 15.72 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2023 Hyundai Verna price is expected to start at Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
