Honda Cars India is gearing up for its first launch of the calendar year 2023. The company is all set to introduce a mid-life facelift for the City mid-size sedan. Honda City Facelift 2023: Features
Honda City will receive a mid-life facelift in March 2023. The sedan will be equipped with revamped front and rear bumpers and new alloy wheels. As far as interior features are concerned, the Honda City facelift is expected to get wireless charger and ventilated seats.
Honda City Facelift 2023: Engine
The Honda City Facelift will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, developing 119 bhp power and 145 Nm torque. The engine will be mated with a 6-speed MT and a CVT unit. Second engine option will be a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol hybrid engine with 2 electric motors, cumulatively producing a peak power of 124 bhp and a max torque of 253 Nm.
Honda City Facelift 2023: Expected price
Slated to launch in March 2023, the Honda City Facelift is likely to cost more over the current model. Currently, the Honda City petrol variants are priced between Rs 11.87 lakh – Rs 15.62 lakh, while the hybrid variant costs Rs 19.89 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with the likes of the Skoda Slavia and the Hyundai Verna.
