Karnataka SSLC Exam: The Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) have released circular information that students with inadequate attendance will be re-enrolled in the academic year 2025-26. Examination Board restricted these students from attend exam.

Last year, in the SSLC exams of March/April 2024, KSEB allowed students to sit for the second and third exams with less than 75% attendance. However, a senior KSEB official made it clear this year that the board would not give any exceptions.

“Since there is an opportunity for re-entry, we have decided not to allow students with less than 75% of attendance to sit for the second and third exams,” the official explained. “We are following the directions from the government in this regard,” the official said.

In 2024, over 15,000 students faced a shortage of attendance. “If you observe a large number of affected students and follow the guidance of the government, we have allowed us to register for the second and third exams for those over the age of 15 as private candidates.

More than 8,000 students registered, and about 2,000 people Successfully passed, ”the official said. KSEAB officials are considered equal to all three tests, with a good score being taken into account for the end results. “In this case, why should we allow students with lack of attendance to sit for second and third exams?” Senior KSEB questioned an officer.
