Dr Sudha Yadav Takes Oath as New Karnataka Governor
Dr Sudha Yadav was sworn in as the new Governor of Karnataka in Bengaluru. Karnataka High Court Chief Justice Justice Vibhu Bakhru administered the oath in the presence of Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, outgoing Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, ministers, and other dignitaries.
Bengaluru: Dr Sudha Yadav was sworn in as the new Governor of Karnataka on Friday. The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, Justice Vibhu Bakhru, at a ceremonial event held at the Glass House in Lok Bhavan in Bengaluru.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by outgoing Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara, Karnataka High Court Chief Justice Justice Vibhu Bakhru, Leader of the Opposition R. Ashoka, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, BJP Karnataka President B.Y. Vijayendra, along with several ministers, legislators, and other dignitaries.
