PM Modi Unveils Logo for Vishwesha Tirtha Centenary Celebrations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji of Udupi’s Pejavara Adhokshaja Matha in New Delhi on Tuesday and unveiled the official logo for the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji.

The meeting brought attention to the legacy of the former Pejavara Matha seer, whose centenary celebrations are being planned through a series of programmes and initiatives. The Prime Minister said the spiritual leader’s life of devotion, learning and service continues to inspire many people.

Among those present were Akhila Bharata Madhva Maha Mandala president Gautam, Central University of Delhi Vice Chancellor Professor Srinivas Varakhedi and the matha’s public relations officer Vasudeva Bhat Perampalli, according to the information released about the meeting.

The centenary celebrations are expected to focus on different aspects of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji’s life and work. These include his contribution to spiritual learning, education, social engagement and public service.
