Samsung One UI 9 Beta May Expand To These Galaxy Phones Check The Expected List

Samsung appears to be preparing for a wider One UI 9 beta rollout, and owners of several older Galaxy smartphones could soon get an opportunity to test the upcoming software. The company has already been testing the new interface on its latest flagship devices, and recent activity suggests that the beta program may soon expand.

The Galaxy S26 series has already received several beta builds during the testing phase. With the program appearing to move forward, attention is now turning towards other Galaxy devices that could receive the software.

Recent reports have pointed to more than a dozen Galaxy models being tested internally with One UI 9 builds. The appearance of these devices on Samsung testing servers does not necessarily guarantee a public beta release, but it does suggest that development is underway for a broader group of smartphones.

The expected Galaxy S lineup includes the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 FE. Older models such as the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra are also reportedly being considered.

Samsung could also extend beta testing to its foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are among the devices linked with One UI 9 testing. Samsung has reportedly already created beta program sections for some of these models on its community platform, which could indicate that an announcement is getting closer.

The Galaxy A series could receive attention as well. Reported candidates include the Galaxy A57, Galaxy A56, Galaxy A55, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A35. These phones could bring the new software experience to a much larger section of Samsung users if the company expands the beta program as expected.

However, the current list should not be treated as final. Samsung can change its beta rollout plans depending on development progress, software stability and regional testing requirements. A device appearing in an internal test does not automatically mean that owners will receive the public beta.

The possible One UI 9 expansion comes at an interesting time for Samsung, as the company is also expanding its current Galaxy S26 lineup with a new Fan Edition model. The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to become available in selected global markets through Samsung’s online store from September 4.

The Galaxy S26 FE is positioned as a more affordable addition to the S26 family. Its reported specifications include an Exynos 2000 series processor based on a 3nm manufacturing process and a 4900mAh battery with wired and wireless charging support.

Photography is expected to be another key feature. The phone reportedly carries a triple rear camera system with a 50 megapixel primary sensor, while a 12 megapixel camera is expected on the front for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy S26 FE is reportedly priced from 799 euros for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The 8GB and 256GB variant is said to cost 899 euros, while the top 8GB and 512GB configuration could be priced at 1099 euros. Indian pricing has not been announced in the provided details.

For now, Galaxy users will have to wait for Samsung to officially confirm the One UI 9 beta expansion. If the reported testing activity is accurate, the next phase could bring the new software to a considerably wider range of Galaxy smartphones and foldables.
