Motorola Set to Launch Moto Buds 2 in India With Advanced ANC and Long Battery Life
Motorola will launch Moto Buds 2 in India on May 19 featuring dynamic noise cancellation, dual drivers, spatial audio support and extended battery backup for immersive everyday listening experiences.

Motorola is preparing to expand its audio product lineup in India with the launch of the new Moto Buds 2. The upcoming true wireless stereo earbuds are scheduled to debut in the country on May 19 alongside the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power smartphones. The earbuds were first showcased globally during MWC 2026 in Barcelona and are now expected to arrive in India with similar specifications.
The Moto Buds 2 are aimed at users looking for a premium audio experience with advanced smart features packed into a compact design. Motorola has equipped the earbuds with a dual driver setup consisting of 11mm and 6mm drivers, which are designed to deliver deeper bass along with clearer high frequency sound output.
One of the major highlights of the earbuds is the support for dynamic active noise cancellation up to 55dB. According to the company, the earbuds can intelligently adjust noise cancellation levels based on surrounding environmental conditions. There is also a smart transparency mode that allows external sound to pass through whenever users need to stay aware of nearby conversations or surroundings.
The earbuds support LHDC codec and spatial audio technology, which are expected to enhance overall sound quality and create a more immersive listening experience for music, movies and gaming. Motorola has also included a low latency gaming mode to improve synchronization between audio and visuals during gameplay sessions.
For voice calls, the Moto Buds 2 come equipped with six microphones along with environmental noise cancellation support. This setup is designed to improve voice clarity during calls even in noisy environments or windy outdoor conditions.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 6.0 and dual device pairing support. Users can connect the earbuds to two devices at the same time, making it easier to switch between a smartphone, laptop or tablet without reconnecting manually every time.
Motorola has also added several smart features including wear detection, customizable touch controls, adjustable equalizer settings with bass boost, voice assistant support and an audio sharing function. The earbuds also feature Moto AI integration along with a Ring My Buds option that helps users locate misplaced earbuds more easily.
In terms of durability, the Moto Buds 2 carry an IP54 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes, making them suitable for everyday outdoor usage and workouts.
Battery performance is another area where the earbuds appear promising. Each earbud packs a 62mAh battery that can reportedly deliver up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge. The charging case includes a 520mAh battery, taking the combined usage time up to 48 hours. Fast charging support is also included, with the company claiming that a quick 10 minute charge can provide up to three hours of listening time.
While Motorola has not yet confirmed the India pricing, the Moto Buds 2 were launched in the UK at a price of 70 pounds, which roughly translates to around Rs 8,500. Industry expectations suggest the Indian pricing could be more competitive to attract buyers in the growing premium TWS segment.
