Motorola Preparing to Launch Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power in India Next Week
Motorola will soon launch the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power in India with large batteries, MediaTek processors, high refresh rate displays and Android 16 support for users.

Motorola is set to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power. The company has confirmed that both smartphones will officially debut in the country on May 19, and sales will begin through Flipkart along with selected retail outlets.
The new smartphones were first introduced in European markets earlier this year, but the Indian variants are expected to arrive with upgraded hardware. Motorola has revealed that both devices launching in India will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, replacing the Dimensity 6300 chipset used in the international versions.
Among the two models, the Moto G37 Power is likely to grab attention because of its massive battery capacity. The smartphone packs a large 7000mAh battery along with support for 30W TurboPower charging. Motorola claims the device can deliver up to 78 hours of usage on a single charge, making it suitable for users who prefer long battery backup without frequent charging.
The Moto G37 Power also supports 6W wired reverse charging, allowing users to charge accessories or other smartphones when needed. Motorola has additionally included stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support to improve the entertainment experience during gaming and video streaming.
Both smartphones are expected to share several core specifications. They may feature a 6.67 inch HD Plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate for smoother scrolling and improved touch response. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and reportedly offers peak brightness levels of up to 1050 nits.
Motorola is expected to ship both devices with Android 16 out of the box. The smartphones will also support expandable storage through microSD cards up to 1TB, giving users additional flexibility for storing photos, videos and apps.
In terms of photography, the Moto G37 is rumored to feature a 50 megapixel primary rear camera along with an integrated secondary sensor for light and flicker detection. The smartphone may also include side mounted fingerprint security for faster unlocking and improved convenience during everyday use.
The standard Moto G37 is expected to come with a 5200mAh battery supporting 20W TurboPower charging. Similar to the Power variant, it will also support 6W reverse wired charging.
Motorola appears to be targeting users looking for affordable smartphones with strong battery life, smooth displays and modern software features. With growing competition in the mid range smartphone market, the company seems focused on offering balanced performance along with practical everyday features.
While the official India pricing of the Moto G37 series has not yet been revealed, more details are expected to emerge closer to the launch event. The smartphones are likely to compete with several popular devices in the budget and mid range 5G segment once they become available in the country.
