Motorola Razr Fold Set for May 13 Launch with Premium Foldable Experience and Powerful Features
Motorola is preparing to expand its foldable smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Motorola Razr Fold, a book style premium device packed with high end display technology and flagship performance features for modern users.
Motorola has officially confirmed that its much awaited foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr Fold, will be launched in India on May 13. The device was first showcased earlier this year at CES, where it attracted attention for its design and next generation foldable experience. With this launch, Motorola is aiming to strengthen its position in the growing premium foldable segment.
After the launch, the Motorola Razr Fold will be available in multiple storage options including 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and a higher variant offering 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. Buyers will be able to purchase the device through Motorola’s official website, Flipkart, and select offline retail stores. The smartphone will also come in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White color options, giving users a stylish choice.
The design of the Razr Fold focuses on both durability and premium usability. It features a 6.56 inch external display that allows quick access to notifications and apps without unfolding the device. Once opened, users get a large 8.1 inch 2K LTPO inner display designed for immersive viewing, multitasking, and productivity use.
Motorola has also emphasized protection and durability in this model. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, which the company claims improves drop resistance by up to 75 percent compared to previous generation devices. This makes the foldable more reliable for everyday use.
On the performance side, the Motorola Razr Fold is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, ensuring flagship level speed and efficiency. The device runs on Android 16 out of the box, and Motorola is promising long term support with 7 major Android OS upgrades along with 7 years of security updates, which is a significant commitment in the smartphone industry.
Photography has also been given strong attention in this foldable device. The Motorola Razr Fold comes with a 50 megapixel triple rear camera setup designed for detailed and sharp images.
