Honor Play 80 Plus Launches With Massive 7500mAh Battery and Snapdragon 4 Series Chipset
New Honor Play 80 Plus enters Chinese market with large display fast charging support and entry level camera setup targeting users who want long battery life and balanced everyday smartphone performance

The latest addition to the budget segment from Honor has arrived with the launch of the Honor Play 80 Plus in China. The device focuses heavily on battery endurance and essential performance features, aiming to attract users who prioritize long usage over premium specifications.
One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is its enormous 7500mAh battery, supported by 45W fast charging. This combination is designed to reduce charging frequency while ensuring the device can handle extended hours of use, making it suitable for heavy daily activity without constant power concerns.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 4 series processor paired with Adreno graphics, offering a stable experience for basic multitasking, streaming, and casual gaming. The phone also supports up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, giving users enough room for apps, media, and daily usage needs.
On the display side, the Honor Play 80 Plus features a 6.61 inch TFT LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching over 1000 nits. While the resolution remains in the HD plus category, the higher refresh rate helps deliver smoother scrolling and better visual responsiveness in everyday use.
The camera setup is simple and functional. At the back, the device carries a 13 megapixel primary sensor, while the front houses a 5 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The focus here is on basic photography needs rather than advanced imaging capabilities.
Running on Android 16 with MagicOS 10, the phone offers a modern software experience with updated interface features. Security is handled through a side mounted fingerprint sensor, ensuring quick and convenient unlocking for users.
In terms of design, the smartphone measures 163.9mm in height and weighs 205 grams, giving it a slightly solid feel due to the large battery inside. It is available in multiple color options including Aquamarine, Floating Gold, and Inkstone Black, catering to different style preferences.
Connectivity options include 5G support, dual band Wi Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type C port. Additional sensors such as accelerometer, compass, and gravity detection are also included to support daily smartphone functions.
The Honor Play 80 Plus is currently available for pre order in China with multiple storage variants. Pricing varies depending on configuration, positioning it as a mid range option for users seeking strong battery life and dependable performance without moving into flagship territory.
