Xiaomi Launches Ultra Slim 10Kg Smart Washer Dryer With Advanced Cleaning Features

Xiaomi has expanded its smart home lineup with the launch of the Mijia 10kg Ultra Slim Washer Dryer, a modern appliance designed for homes where space is limited but performance expectations are high. The company has focused on combining a compact structure with intelligent washing technology, making it suitable for urban households that need both efficiency and convenience.
The new washer dryer has been introduced in China with a retail price of 1,999 yuan, which is roughly around 27,600 rupees. However, during the initial offer period, it is available at a reduced price of 1,599 yuan, approximately 22,000 rupees. At present, it is being sold through Xiaomi’s Youpin platform, with wider availability expected later depending on demand.
One of the standout aspects of this appliance is its ultra slim design, featuring a depth of just 540mm. Despite its compact form, it offers a 10kg capacity and includes a large 525mm drum that allows better movement of clothes during washing. This design helps reduce wrinkles and improves overall wash quality, especially for larger loads.
The machine supports 26 different wash and dry programs, covering a wide range of fabric types including silk, wool, delicate clothing, outdoor wear, and even heavy items like down jackets. Xiaomi has also added a smart washing mode that automatically adjusts water usage, cycle time, and energy consumption based on the load, reducing manual effort for users.
Cleaning performance is enhanced through a 3D water flow system that mixes detergent before distributing it evenly into fabrics, ensuring deeper cleaning results. For drying, the appliance uses a high airflow system paired with a smart drying mode that helps reduce drying time while saving energy at the same time.
Hygiene has also been given strong attention in this model. It includes a steam sterilization function that the company claims can eliminate up to 99.999 percent of bacteria and viruses. Additional features like high temperature drum cleaning and a nano antibacterial door seal further improve cleanliness and long term maintenance.
On the connectivity side, the washer dryer supports HyperOS Connect, allowing users to control it through a smartphone app. This includes monitoring wash progress, setting schedules, and adjusting settings remotely. It also supports XiaoAI voice commands for hands free operation, making it easier to use in daily routines.
To reduce disturbance during operation, Xiaomi has integrated a multi layer noise reduction system, ensuring quieter performance even during intensive wash cycles.
