Karnataka SSLC results 2026: State records 94.1% pass, Dakshina Kannada tops

Bengaluru : The Karnataka SSLC (Class 10) examination results for the academic year 2025–26 were announced on Thursday at 12 noon, with the state registering an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.1. Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa released the results at a press conference in Bengaluru and shared key highlights of student performance across districts.
Out of a total of 7,70,209 students who appeared for the examination, 7,24,794 students successfully passed. The SSLC exams were conducted from March 18 to April 2 across 2,870 centres statewide, reflecting a smooth and well-coordinated evaluation process.
District-wise performance saw Dakshina Kannada district emerge as the top performer with an outstanding 98.40% pass rate. Udupi district followed closely in second place with 98.18%, while Uttara Kannada district secured the third position with 98.09%. On the other end, Kalaburagi district recorded the lowest pass percentage at 85.06%.
Other high-performing districts included Hassan district (97.51%), Mandya district (97.45%), and Haveri district (96.87%). Districts like Kodagu district, Shivamogga district, and Vijayanagara district also recorded strong results above 96%.
Meanwhile, districts such as Kolar district (95.50%), Belagavi district (94.75%), Mysuru district (94.50%), and Raichur district (94.41%) maintained consistent performance in the mid-90 range. However, Yadgir district (91.89%), Chamarajanagar district (91.89%), and Chikkaballapur district (90.88%) were among those on the lower side of the performance spectrum.
A total of seven students achieved a perfect score of 625 out of 625, emerging as joint state toppers. The achievers include Bharat from Davanagere district, Brinda from Chikkamagaluru district, Dhanush from Bengaluru North, Preetham from Udupi district, Prarthana from Chikkodi, Soujanya from Vijayapura district, and Sukhdev from Raichur district.
The 2026 SSLC results underline Karnataka’s consistent improvement in school education outcomes, with both urban and rural districts contributing to the overall success. The high pass percentage and the emergence of multiple full scorers highlight the state’s strengthening academic ecosystem.
