Unihertz Jelly Star: world smallest smartphone launch; price features

China’s Unihertz has launched the world’s smallest smartphone named Jelly Star. This handset has a 3-inch display and a transparent design. Unihertz Jelly Star: world smallest smartphone launch; price features.

Specially, this phone works with Android 13 support. The rear of the Unihertz Jelly Star smartphone has LEDs with a transparent design similar to the Nothing Phone 1. Moreover, the inside of the phone can be seen from the outside as well. Despite having a tiny 3.03-inches screen, the device is still powered by the Helio G99 octa-core CPU from MediaTek.

A star in it screens bracket right? Well, it also come with a large 256GB ROM, along with 8GB RAM. Flipping to the back, the Unihertz Jelly Star has a single 48-megapixel main camera, while a single 8-megapixel selfie sensor is used on the front.

The compact size brings certain limitations to the compact smartphone as it is only able to house a 2000mAh battery. The device runs Android 13 out of the box, and the body is translucent as well. It has 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage and a microSD card reader. For processor, it gets the powerful MediaTek Helio G99. The device weighs only 116 gram.

Said to be of a similar design as Nothing Phone (1), Jelly Star comes with an 8 MP lens for selfies and video calls. An 48 MP camera on the rear end captures high-resolution photos. There is a 3-inch LED display with 480 – 584 pixel resolution. The phone can be purchased for $170 (approx. Rs14,000) from the Kickstarter campaign. The shipping will commence in October, by when it is likely to be priced at around $210 (approx. Rs17,000).
