The handset will debut in the country on February 9th at an online-only event that will be live-streamed on Xiaomi India’s official YouTube channel. The teaser image shows the handset may have a quad-camera setup on the back, probably led by a 108MP primary camera sensor. It can be seen in Blue colour but there could be other options at launch.
There’s a dedicated microsite on the company’s website and it teases to reveal more details about the phone in the coming days. Redmi Note 11S key specifications have leaked online. While the exact chipset details are in the dark, it is expected to be powered by a MediaTek 5G processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, there could be other options at launch.

It is said to flaunt an IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, and narrow bezels. The Redmi Note 11S is expected to boot the latest Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 skin out of the box. Connectivity options could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers.

It could have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Moving to optics, the Redmi Note 11S will have a quad-camera setup, comprising of a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, a 2MP OV2A OmniVision macro unit, and a 2MP bokeh lens.
