Redme Note 10 sale start with glitches: price, features and other details

Several buyers took to social media platforms to complain after Amazon India website crashed on Tuesday afternoon as soon as the Redmi Note 10 went on sale. Users shared screenshots of the Amazon India website on Twitter showing an error.

This was because of the high traffic witnessed on the website. That is not the only thing that went wrong. The 4GB RAM variant of the new Xiaomi smartphone did not go on sale at all. Xiaomi had launched the smartphone in two variants the more affordable of which, priced at Rs 11,999 did not go on sale. Instead, there is a Coming Soon banner under it.

The Redmi Note 10 price in India starts at Rs 11,999 for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant while the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model is priced at Rs 13,999. The phone is available in Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black colours.

It features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 100 per cent DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, and up to 1100 nits of peak brightness. This is very close to what the Pro models have on offer. However, both those smartphones have a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC. The phone comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and weighs 178.8 grams. The phone has a quad rear camera setup that houses the 48 MP primary Sony IMX582 sensor, along with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, 2 MP macro shooter, and a 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies and video chats, the phone comes with a 13 MP selfie camera sensor at the front.
