Primebook has expanded its laptop lineup in India with the launch of the Primebook 3 Max, the first model in its third generation series. The new laptop brings a larger screen, updated hardware and several software features aimed at students, professionals and everyday users.
The laptop is priced at Rs 35,990 and is expected to go on sale around October 1, 2026. It will be available through Amazon, Flipkart and the Primebook website. Buyers in selected locations will also be able to purchase it through Bajaj Electronics stores in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru, while Sangeetha Mobiles and Pai International stores will offer the laptop in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Primebook has focused heavily on the hardware upgrade this time. According to the company, the new platform can deliver up to 40 percent better performance compared with the previous generation. The laptop is powered by MediaTek’s Genio 720 processor, which features an octa core configuration.
The processor includes two A78 cores running at up to 2.6GHz and six A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz. Graphics processing is handled by the Mali G57 MC2 GPU. The combination is designed to handle regular computing tasks, office work, web browsing and compatible applications.
Memory is handled by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, while the laptop comes with 128GB of UFS storage. Users who need additional space can expand storage through the microSD card slot, with support for capacities of up to 1TB.
The display is one of the noticeable changes in the new model. Primebook 3 Max features a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS panel with a resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels. The screen has an anti glare coating and a peak brightness of 250 nits, making it suited mainly to indoor productivity and entertainment use.
Battery life is another area where Primebook is highlighting the device. The laptop carries a 60.3Wh battery, and the company claims that it can provide up to 12 hours of usage on a single charge. Charging is handled through a 36W USB C connection.
Connectivity options include Wi Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The laptop also provides USB C 3.2, USB C 2.0, USB A 3.2 and USB A 2.0 ports. A microSD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack are included as well, giving users several options for connecting accessories and external devices.
For video calls, Primebook 3 Max gets a 5 megapixel webcam. The camera can record video at up to 1440p resolution at 30 frames per second. The laptop also has dual microphones and stereo speakers, while a backlit keyboard is included for more convenient typing in low light conditions.
Software is an important part of the Primebook 3 Max experience. The laptop runs PrimeOS and comes with PrimeOffice, an offline first productivity suite designed for documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
The company also provides PrimeLinux support, giving users access to software such as VS Code, GIMP, LibreOffice, Firefox, Arduino IDE and Postman. PrimeSecurity and Task Manager are included to help users monitor the system and applications.
Primebook has also added PrimeX Cloud PC, which provides an option for accessing Windows software through the cloud. Another notable feature is PrimeAGNT, an operator AI function that brings artificial intelligence capabilities to the laptop.
The combination of local productivity tools, Linux support, cloud based Windows access and AI features makes the software package a significant part of the Primebook 3 Max offering. Rather than relying only on hardware specifications, the company is positioning the laptop around different ways of working and using applications.
The laptop is expected to receive promotional pricing during major online shopping events. Primebook has indicated that discounted offers could be available during the Amazon Great Indian Festival and Flipkart Big Billion Days, although the final sale prices may depend on the offers active at the time.
At Rs 35,990, the Primebook 3 Max enters a segment where buyers often look for a balance between portability, battery life, basic performance and useful software features. Its 15.6 inch display, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and expandable storage give the laptop a practical hardware setup, while the AI and cloud features add another layer to its overall package.
Primebook 3 Max will therefore be looking to attract users who want a larger screen laptop for everyday work without moving into higher priced premium models. Final availability, promotional pricing and retail offers will become clearer when sales begin in October.
