Poco M4 Pro 5G with 5,000mAh battery launched in India. Price, features

Poco has today launched the M4 Pro 5G in India. Poco M4 Pro 5G has arrived as the brand’s first smartphone of 2022 in India, with 5,000mAh battery launched in India. Price, features. The brand-new phone joins Poco’s existing portfolio as a successor, which was the brand’s first 5G phone. The new M4 Pro 5G brings a better display, a faster processor, and a focus on gaming with features such as a 240Hz touch sampling rate on the display.

But this phone is only a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 5G that is available in China, and it also originally debuted last year in Europe. Anuj Sharma, country director of Poco India, told India Today Tech that the Poco M4 Pro 5G is just the first step towards its goal of refreshing the entire portfolio by the first half of 2022. The M4 Pro 5G will also be an important milestone in Poco’s future journey, which includes a flurry of 5G phones.

Specifications

Coming at an affordable price, the Poco M4 Pro 5G’s specifications seem enticing, especially for people who love gaming. The phone’s 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD will appeal to binge-watchers. It has a punch-hole in the middle and the 90Hz refresh rate on it will make animations and scrolling look and feel smoother. But gamers will appreciate the 240Hz touch sampling rate on the display. Powering the Poco M4 Pro 5G is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM, but users will have the option to expand it up to 8GB through the dynamic RAM expansion feature and up to 11GB with the Turbo RAM feature.

The phone’s onboard memory is 128GB and it supports a microSD card of up to 1TB. But you will have to choose between using two SIM cards and using a microSD card. Keeping it simple, the Poco M4 Pro 5G has only two cameras on the back: a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel camera on the phone. The phone is a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology. The mobile has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, a USB-C port, FM radio support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which, again, is something gamers will appreciate.
