Because of this, many people have been cheated on many occasions, but sometimes they wake up and start their work after knowing the truth. Now in a similar pattern, though the deadline for Pan-Aadhaar linking was March 31, 2023, the deadline has been extended to March 31, 2024, a photo is being shared with the order.
In the order that has gone viral, the central government has extended the deadline for linking Aadhar Number with Voter ID from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. In a copy of the order circulating on social media, the Ministry of Law and Justice in its notification dated March 21, 2023 makes the following amendment in the notification dated 17th June, 2022 of the Union Government in the Ministry of Law and Justice (Legislative Department), No. SO.2893 (E), dated 17 June 2022. For the words and figures, ‘April 1, 2023’ shall be substituted by ‘March 31, 2024’.

This order is for linking Aadhaar number to Voter ID card and not to link Aadhaar number to PAN number. That’s why some scoundrels shared saying that the deadline for Pan-Aadhaar number linking has been extended till March 31, 2024. This is not true. It is a fake photo. The last date for Pan-Aadhaar number linking is June 30, 2023. Don’t forget to do it if you haven’t done it.
