OnePlus has expanded its OnePlus 13s lineup in India with a new memory and storage configuration. The smartphone, which was previously available with up to 12GB of RAM, can now be purchased with 16GB RAM paired with 512GB of internal storage.

The new variant is priced at Rs 68,999. Customers using eligible credit cards from HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and IDFC First Bank can get a discount of up to Rs 2,000, subject to the applicable terms.

The latest addition gives buyers another option without changing the core hardware of the phone. The OnePlus 13s continues to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and keeps the same display, camera setup and battery capacity offered with the existing models.

The smartphone has a 6.32 inch LTPO ProXDR AMOLED display. It offers a 1.5K resolution of 1,216 by 2,640 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, which is designed to make content easier to view in bright surroundings.

Performance remains one of the main features of the OnePlus 13s. The phone is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The addition of 16GB RAM could be useful for users who regularly switch between several applications or use demanding games and other resource intensive tasks.

The camera hardware has also been retained from the existing configuration. At the rear, the phone carries a dual camera setup with a 50 megapixel primary sensor that supports optical image stabilisation. It is paired with a 50 megapixel telephoto camera offering 2x optical zoom.

For selfies and video calls, OnePlus has equipped the device with a 32 megapixel front camera. The combination of a main camera and telephoto sensor gives the phone separate options for standard photography and closer subjects.

Battery capacity is another notable part of the OnePlus 13s specification. The handset comes with a 5,850mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging. The larger battery is paired with a relatively compact screen, which could appeal to users who want a smaller phone without moving to a lower capacity battery.

The OnePlus 13s also includes an optical fingerprint scanner built into the display. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS, while charging and wired data connectivity are handled through a USB Type C port.

The phone measures 150.8 by 71.7 by 8.2 mm and weighs around 185 grams. Its compact dimensions make it smaller than many large screen smartphones currently available in the market.

The new 16GB RAM model joins the existing 12GB RAM versions. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model is priced at Rs 54,999, while the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage version costs Rs 59,999.

With the new configuration, buyers can choose between different memory and storage combinations depending on their requirements. The additional RAM comes with a higher price, while the existing variants continue to provide lower priced alternatives.

OnePlus is offering the OnePlus 13s in Pink, Green and Black colour options. The smartphone is available through the companys online store as well as Amazon.

The launch of the new configuration comes as smartphone buyers increasingly look at RAM and storage alongside processor specifications. For users who keep many applications installed or frequently move between demanding tasks, the additional memory may be one of the main reasons to consider the new variant.

At the same time, the core specifications remain unchanged. Buyers choosing the 16GB version get the same 6.32 inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, dual 50 megapixel rear camera system, 32 megapixel front camera and 5,850mAh battery found across the OnePlus 13s lineup.

The new OnePlus 13s variant therefore expands the existing range rather than introducing a completely redesigned smartphone. Its combination of 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, flagship processor and 80W charging gives Indian buyers another configuration to consider within the OnePlus 13s series.
