Nubia Neo 5 Pro Launches as New Gaming Beast with 50MP Camera and 6210mAh Battery
Nubia Neo 5 Pro arrives as a performance focused gaming smartphone featuring Dimensity 7400 chipset, 144Hz display, shoulder triggers, fast charging, and advanced cooling for smooth long gaming sessions and daily use experience.
Nubia has officially introduced the Neo 5 Pro as its latest gaming oriented smartphone, targeting users who want high performance, strong battery life, and a smooth display experience. The device arrives with a large 6.8 inch OLED screen that supports a 1.5K resolution along with a fast 144Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for both competitive gaming and multimedia consumption.
At the core of the phone sits the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone runs on Android 16 with MyOS 16 skin on top, aiming to offer a modern software experience with gaming optimizations. For sustained performance during heavy usage, Nubia has added a 4083mm² VC liquid cooling system to control heat effectively.
Interestingly, the Neo 5 Pro also focuses heavily on gaming controls and responsiveness. It comes equipped with shoulder trigger buttons that enhance gameplay precision, while Magic Touch 3.0 ensures screen responsiveness even when fingers are wet or oily. Audio performance is supported by dual stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra technology, adding a more immersive feel during gaming and entertainment.
On the camera front, the device includes a dual rear setup led by a 50 megapixel main sensor along with a 2 megapixel secondary lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16 megapixel front camera placed on the device. While the focus remains gaming, the camera system is designed to handle everyday photography needs efficiently.
Power backup is one of the strongest highlights of the Nubia Neo 5 Pro. It packs a large 6210mAh battery supported by 80W fast charging, ensuring shorter charging times and longer usage periods. Connectivity features include 5G support, WiFi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC, along with an in display fingerprint sensor for security.
In terms of pricing, the smartphone has been launched globally, including in the Philippines. The 12GB plus 128GB variant is priced at PHP 14,999, which is roughly around 23 thousand rupees, while the higher 12GB plus 256GB version costs PHP 17,999, approximately 28 thousand rupees. The device is available in Black and White color options.
With its combination of gaming focused hardware, large battery, and high refresh rate display, the Nubia Neo 5 Pro aims to stand out in the mid range gaming smartphone segment.
