Nokia’s first laptop arrived in Market: Check here price and Specifications

Nokia PureBook X14 is the latest laptop to arrive in the Indian market. Launched today, the Nokia-branded laptop brings some top-of-the-line features that could gain it an edge over some rivals.

Nokia’s PureBook X14 laptop has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, both available for users to enhance the audio and video quality on the laptops. Moreover, the Nokia laptop weighs only 1.1 kilograms, so this could be one of the most lightweight laptops that are available to buy in India.

Nokia laptops are not associated with HMD Global, instead, Flipkart is selling them exclusively. Much like how Nokia smart televisions are sold and serviced, Flipkart will also sell and manage the after-sales services for the Nokia PureBook X14 laptop in India.

The Nokia laptop also brings the new 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, which pits it against the Mi Notebook 14 in India. Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook 14 was launched some months back as one of the cheapest Windows 10 laptops with reasonable specifications.

It was launched for a little over Rs 40,000 in India but Nokia’s PureBook X14 goes higher in the price ladder, where the increase could be accounted for by advanced features.

Nokia PureBook X14 Price

The Nokia PureBook X14 has been priced at Rs 59,990 in India. It will be available in Matte Black colour and the pre-orders for it start December 18 on Flipkart. The shipping dates are not available yet but that might not be far. The launch offers are also not detailed yet.

Nokia PureBook X14 Specifications

The Nokia PureBook X14 comes across as a mid-range device that although exceeds the expected price of around Rs 40,000 – Rs 45,000 where the Mi Notebook 14 range sells. But that gap in price explains some features that the Nokia laptop brings over the Mi Notebook 14.

Nokia PureBook X14 comes with a 14-inch 1080p LED-backlit screen with thin bezels around. It supports Dolby Vision, which means that watching Netflix shows on this screen is going to be a delight. Moreover, Dolby Vision-supported games will also run fine.

There is a 86 per cent screen-to-body ratio, along with 250 nits of brightness. The laptop is 1.1 kilograms in weight only. There are two USB 3.1 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and a single USB-C port, along with an HDMI port, an Ethernet (RJ45) port, and a 3.5mm audio jack on the laptop.

Connectivity options also include Wi-Fi on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and Bluetooth v5.1. Powering the Nokia PureBook X14 is a quad-core 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor with a base frequency of 1.6GHz but can perform at as high as 4.2GHz Turbo Frequency.

It is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage. For graphics, the Nokia PureBook X14 comes with Intel UHD 620 Graphics with 1.1GHz Turbo GPU, enabling support for 4K resolution videos in HDR.

There are also Intel Quick Sync Video, Intel InTru 3D, and Intel Clear Video HD technologies on the laptop. The laptop ships with Windows 10 Home Plus out of the box. It also supports Windows Hello-powered facial scanning through the HD webcam.
