LG Unveils 2026 TV Range with Wireless OLED and Advanced AI Features

LG introduces next generation televisions with wireless technology, upgraded AI processing, higher brightness, and immersive audio, aiming to redefine home entertainment experiences across premium and large screen categories worldwide

LG Electronics has officially begun rolling out its 2026 television lineup, signaling a major push toward smarter and more immersive home entertainment. The new range brings together OLED, wireless display technology, and AI driven enhancements, reflecting how television design is evolving beyond traditional viewing.

At the center of attention is the wireless OLED W6 model, a slim wallpaper style television that measures roughly 9mm in thickness. Instead of conventional cable connections, it relies on a Zero Connect Box to transmit audio and video signals wirelessly. This setup reduces clutter while maintaining performance, supporting 4K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The system also promises low latency, making it suitable for gaming and fast paced content.

Alongside the W6, the company has expanded its OLED evo portfolio with G6, C6, and B6 series models. These televisions introduce improved brightness and color output through upgraded display technologies. According to the company, the new panels can deliver significantly higher brightness levels compared to earlier OLED generations, while maintaining deep contrast and fast response times that OLED screens are known for.

Powering these devices is the latest α11 AI Processor 4K Gen3, designed to enhance picture clarity and optimize sound in real time. Features such as AI upscaling and intelligent brightness adjustment aim to deliver consistent quality regardless of the content source. Reflection reduction technology has also been included to improve viewing comfort in brightly lit rooms.

The software experience has been updated as well. Running on webOS 26, the new TVs integrate AI based tools including personalized recommendations, voice recognition, and smart search capabilities. With built in support for assistants like Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini, users can interact with their TVs more naturally, turning them into interactive hubs rather than just passive screens.

LG has also introduced a new Micro RGB evo series, marking a fresh approach to LCD technology. Unlike traditional LED TVs that use white backlighting, these models rely on RGB LEDs to improve color accuracy and brightness control. This shift allows for more vivid visuals and better performance across a wider color spectrum, particularly in large screen formats.

Speaking of size, the company is clearly targeting the premium segment with bigger displays. The new lineup includes options ranging from compact 42 inch models to massive screens nearing 100 inches and beyond, catering to both regular households and luxury home theater setups.

In terms of availability, sales have already started in South Korea, with a broader global rollout expected in the coming months. Pricing varies widely depending on the model and size, positioning the lineup firmly in the mid to high end segment.

With this launch, LG is not just updating its television range but also redefining how users interact with screens. The focus on wireless setups, AI driven personalization, and larger displays suggests a future where televisions become smarter, cleaner in design, and more integrated into everyday living spaces.
