Good news for Twitter users: Now tweet up to 10000 characters

New Delhi: Elon Musk has given a big gift to Twitter users who want to tweet for a long time due to the 240 character limit. Now you can tweet up to 10,000 characters, although you have to pay for it. For example, Elon Musk has given the facility of tweeting in 10,000 characters only to Twitter Blue Tick subscribers. Long tweet text now has the option to edit it in bold and italic format. Good news for Twitter users: Now tweet up to 10000 characters.

In February this year, Twitter allowed its Blue subscribers to tweet under 4,000 characters. Normal users can tweet at length, but they need to take help of threads. In addition to allowing tweets under 10,000 characters, Elon Musk has also launched a creators content monetization feature. Under content monetization, only creators earn for 12 months and after that Elon Musk has to pay a share of the earnings. Users are able to take money from their followers in exchange for their content.

Currently, creators can charge their content monthly at $2.99 which is Rs 244, $4.99 which is Rs 407 and $9.99 which is around Rs 816. According to Twitter’s rules, creators must be at least 18 years old, have 10,000 active followers and tweet at least 25 times in the last 30 days to monetize.
