Airtel monthly minimum recharge price hike in 8 places including Karnataka

Bharti Airtel has increased the monthly minimum recharge rate by 57% to Rs 155 in 8 places including Karnataka. Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh West, North East, Jammu-Kashmir, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh are the other places where the minimum recharge rate has increased. The company has discontinued the minimum recharge plan Rs 99. In this plan, 200 MB data, call facility was available at Rs 2.5 per second. Rs 155 the plan was initially implemented in Haryana and Odisha in November itself. The plan has been implemented and unlimited calling, 1 GB data and 300 SMS facilities are being provided.

Airtel said that it has been extended Rs 155 plan to other places. Metered tariff have been discontinued to provide better service to customers. We have introduced the plan. It will provide unlimited calling, 1 GB data and 300 SMS. Customers can avail this plan without any restrictions.

An Airtel spokesperson said that we hope that this scheme will bring more benefits to the customers. Sources said that Airtel will implement the plan Rs 155 across the country in the next few days. The company is said to be considering cancelling all call and SMS plans below Rs 155.

Bharti Airtel on November 21 increased the minimum recharge rate for 28 days in Haryana and Odisha zones to Rs 155 on a practical basis. Top sources of the company had already said that there is a possibility of expanding across the country in the next few days. Earlier also Airtel followed a similar pattern. The minimum recharge rate has been increased from Rs 79 to Rs 99 in select zones. Later it was implemented across the country.
