The phones run on Android 16 with the NxtQ OS skin, providing a smooth and modern user interface.

The standard Nova 2 comes with a 6.745-inch V-Notch display featuring HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core processor built on a 6nm architecture clocked at 2.3GHz, coupled with Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. Buyers can choose between 4GB+64GB or 6GB+128GB storage options. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options include 5G NSA+SA, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C port.

On the photography front, the Nova 2 sports an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The combination of a high-capacity battery and responsive display makes it suitable for everyday media consumption, gaming, and multitasking. The phone will be available in purple, green, pink, blue, and black, with sales starting April 14, 2026.

The Nova 2 Ultra, on the other hand, is designed for more demanding users. The camera setup on the Nova 2 Ultra is more advanced, with a 50-megapixel rear primary sensor featuring OIS support and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. For selfies, a 13-megapixel front camera is provided. Additional features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Type-C connectivity, dual speakers, VC cooling for gaming, NxtHalo gaming triggers, and customizable shortcuts, making it suitable for gaming enthusiasts and power users.

Pricing for the devices has been set at 8,999 rupees for the 4GB+64GB Nova 2 variant and 14,999 rupees for the 6GB+128GB Nova 2 Ultra. The Nova 2 Ultra will go on sale from April 17, 2026, in blue, green, purple, black, and red color options.
