1.45 Lakh Crore worth 5G spectrum auction on first day!..Here is complete information!

The country’s largest spectrum auction to provide 5G services in India has started and on the first day of the auction, 5G spectrum worth approximately Rs 1.45 lakh crore was allocated. There was a lot of curiosity about who would win the rights to the 72 gigahertz  spectrum of radio waves worth a total of Rs 4.3 lakh crore, with bids worth Rs 1.45 lakh crore more than expected on the first day of the auction on Tuesday. A total of 72 GHz of spectrum has been put up for auction for a validity period of about 20 years after the central government gave permission for auctioning of 5G spectrum. This important auction process started at 10 am on Tuesday, July 26, and 1.45 lakh crore worth of 5G frequencies were allocated on the first day in a total of four rounds of bidding. Although Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Gautam Adani’s unit Adani Enterprises have participated in the auction, it is not known at present which company has won how many waves until the auction process is complete.

According to industry sources, the country’s No.1 telecom firm Reliance Jio is expected to be the frontrunner in this auction. Analysts said that Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea will be in the next positions. The telecom department had expected around Rs 70,000 crore to Rs 1 lakh crore from the auction on the first day. However, Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the process of the companies was healthy in this bidding process. In other words, it is known that all the four companies have shown considerable interest in the purchase of 72 GHz 5G spectrum radio waves worth Rs 4.3 lakh crore.

In the country, the auction process takes place on different frequencies like 600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz. In this 3300 MHz is considered as medium speed while 26 GHz is classified as high speed or frequency spectrum. All these frequency bands have been put up for auction and clear information about the auction will be available in the next two days. The government said that after the auction process is fully completed, the 5G spectrum will be allotted before August 14. If 5G comes, the internet speed and capacity will be almost 10 times higher than the internet speed that we get through the current 4G services.
