Tumkur: World Environment Day was celebrated uniquely under the auspices of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), IT Milan Tumkur, Paryavana Samrakshana Gathividhi, Tumkur and Beugle Trust Tumkur.
Eco Day celebrated by planting trees in the back yard of Sridevi Engineering College near Shira gate in the city.
Nowadays, the environment is becoming contaminated. During the Corona hardship period, people were suffering from lack of oxygen. Such a situation can never be repeated, raising awareness among the people.
