Ration Card Holders big news here: Today is last chance to update your card

The Food and Civil Supplies Department had extended the period for ration card amendment till September 14. Today is the last day to update ration card. Today is the last chance for name addition/correction in Ration Card.
If the female member is not identified as the owner in the ration card, then it is not possible to apply for the Karnataka government guarantee scheme Gruha Lakshmi Yojana.

Thus, provision has been made to update the woman as a owner in the ration card. The food department has allowed name addition/correction in the ration card till September 14, name can be added/correction in the ration card in three stages in different districts.

In the existing ration cards, name addition/removal, address change, member name correction has been allowed in the software today from 10 am to 8 pm, the application can be applied at Karnataka One, Gram One and Seva Sindhu centers within the stipulated period, Food and Civil Supplies Department said in announcement.

The Health Department has come forward to implement the Home Health Scheme to provide healthcare services at everyone’s doorstep. In this scheme, it is intended to conduct all types of health check-up including heart, kidney, cancer, BP, diabetes, ECG and provide medicines as required for selected problems free of cost on the spot.
