Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced that there will be power cut in some parts of Bengaluru today due to maintenance work undertaken by Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). BESCOM has announced there will be power outage in many areas of Bangalore from 10 am to 4 pm till October 31. Today (October 28) Bangalore Mahila Complex, Big Bazaar, Joy Allukas, Mahanagar Palike, Gundi Choultry Back, MCCB Block, AVK College Road, Court Road, Ratnamma Hostel, Muslim Complex, Old Bus Stand, PWD Division, Panchayat Raj, Shanti Comforts , Police Quarters MS Building, Aruna Theatre, Veterinary Hospital,
Sitara Hotel and Pisale Compound Areas, Shankar Vihar Layout, PB Road, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, BSNL Office, Sub Registrar Office, Vinayaka Nagar, Sai International Hotel, Pooja International Hotel, Devaraj Aras Layout B Block, Giriappa Layout and GMIT College
6th Main Road MCC B Block, Lakshmi Flour Mill, Kuvempu Nagar, SS Layout A Block, SS Mahal, Mavintop Hospital, Karnataka Bank Right Side, Handicapped Hostel and surrounding areas will have power cut.

On October 31 (Monday) there will be power outage around Shankar Vihar Layout, PB Road, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, BSNL Office, Sub Registrar Office, Vinayak Nagar, Sai International Hotel, Pooja International Hotel, Devaraj Aras Layout B Block, Giriappa Layout and GMIT College.
