Mangaluru: Nursing student commits suicide: Harassment for college fee payment

A student of BSc Nursing College commits suicide by hanging herself in a hostel at Colaco Nursing College in Kadri, Mangaluru, following a torture payment for college fees. Nina Satish (19) is a student who committed suicide.

Nina Satish, a native of Kasaragod, was studying for her first BSc in Nursing at the Colaco Nursing College in the city. He committed suicide by hanging herself in the toilet of the college’s hostel in Kadri yesterday. She was immediately admitted to a private hospital. But doctors have announced that Nina Satish has passed away today.

A suicide note written by Nina Satish was found before committing suicide. Nina Satish has paid a fee of about Rs. 75,000. The college’s governing body is asking for the rest to be paid also said they would not give uniforms without paying the rest. City police commissioner N Sashikumar said she had written that she was committing suicide for the same reason.

She had to pay a fee of Rs 1.25 lakh for first BSc Nursing at Colaco College to pay. But she could not afford to pay the rest. Nina Satheesh was educated by her mother. She has also mentioned that she is not ready to hurt her mother.
