Karnataka Heavy Rainfall: holiday declared for schools, colleges in these districts

The Heavy rainfall continues across the state again. Due to heavy rain in many districts including Coastal, Malnad, South Interior, North Interior, people life has been disrupted. Karnataka Heavy Rainfall: Holiday declared for schools, colleges in these districts.

Due to the heavy rain in coastal Karnataka districts like Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada districts, holidays have been announced for schools and colleges in some taluks as a precautionary measure. As a precautionary measure due to Karnataka heavy rainfall, Anganwadi, schools and colleges of Sulya, Kadaba taluk of Dakshina Kannada district have been given holiday.

In Bhatkal taluk of Uttara Kannada district, holidays have been announced for Anganwadi, schools and colleges. In Koppal district, the roads of the villages are flowing due to the rain that has been pouring since late night. In the wake of continuous heavy rain in the district, the district administration has declared a holiday for schools, colleges and Angwadi as a precautionary measure.

Heavy Rainfall hill collapsed: Heavy rain continues across the state, Madikeri, Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada districts receiving heavy rainfall from last 3 days. It is suspected that four people have died after a roof collapsed on a house in Bhatkal Uttara Kannada district due to heavy rainfall, and the NDRF and SDRF are rushing to reach the place where the tragedy took place. Locals are currently carrying out rescue operations at the scene. More info waited.
