An order has been issued to increase the allowance to 38.75. Dearness Allowance (Karnataka DA Hike) for employees will be effective from 01-07-2023. So here is how much the salary of government employees will be increased.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has tweeted about the increase in gratuity of state government employees. The dearness allowance of government employees has been increased by 3.75%. The gratuity of teaching staff in UGC/AICT, ICAR pay scales and judicial officers in NGPC pay scale has been increased by 4%.
Due to this, an order has been issued to revise the gratuity allowance to 46%. Due to the increase in gratuity, the state government will incur an additional cost of Rs 1,109 crore annually. Siddaramaiah tweeted that the Dussehra celebrations of state government employees will be increased.

This order will be applicable to state government and Zilla Panchayat full-time employees, full-time work charge employees in temporary grades and full-time employees in government-aided educational institutions and universities in temporary pay grade.
How much increase in the salary of government employees due to increase in gratuity:
On the occasion of Dussehra, due to the increase in gratuity of the state government employees, the salary of the government employees will increase once again. So here is the information about how much the basic salary of government employees will be increased. Due to the 3.75 per cent increase in the basic allowance of the employees who get a basic salary of Rs 17,000, the salary will increase by Rs 638.
From now on, the salary of the employees who get the maximum basic salary of Rs 150600 will be increased by Rs 5648. The current allowance is Rs 52,700. Therefore, due to the increase in poverty allowance, it will increase to Rs 58,358. Since the order will be implemented from July 1, a total of Rs 16,943 will be deposited in the account for three months.
