Speaking to reporters, Karnataka minister said that the target is to provide 100 two-wheelers to each assembly constituency. He said that Rs 70,000 has been fixed for each two-wheeler, Rs 50,000 subsidy and Rs 20,000 as bank loan facility. He said that goods two-wheelers are being given to the unemployed youth to facilitate self-employment.
Minister of Social Welfare and Backward Classes has given good news to pre- and post-matric students and said that the monthly meal expenses have been increased. For post-matric students, has been increased from Rs.1600 to Rs.1750. For pre-matric students, it has been increased from 1500 to 1650 rupees.

Under the pre-matric post-matric scholarship programme, 60% of the cost is borne by the central government and 40% by the state government. He said that 100% scholarship is being given by the state government from class 1 to class 8 and the student stipend is being paid through DBT.
